OBJECTIVEThe
SIET’s were expected to discharge the following functions:
Production of ETV and radio programmes according to the
broadcast schedule and standards;
Analysis of educational needs in district regions;
Design of non-formal education systems providing for
delivery of educational programmes;
Development of concepts and provision of user services
for educational programmes;
Design of innovative educational technology. The
purpose for which, the activities to be undertaken by the SIET include the following:
 Production and evaluation of T.V. and Radio programmes for in
school and out of school target audiences;
Print support for ETV and Radio Programmes;
In service training programme for teachers in co-operation with
SCERT.
Designing and establishing
system in co-ordination with CIET for data gathering and analysis.
MANAGEMENT
